First time in Chamonix Mont-blanc?

You’re going to love it here, Chamonix is one of the most popular places in the world for skiing. Not only do we have the highest mountains in Europe with breathtaking views of glaciers and needle-like mountains but we also have an all year round busy little town filled with quirky restaurants and real fun nightlife.
Fancy a freshly baked pizza for lunch? No problem, we’re right on the border with Italy, you can even ski in Courmayeur (Italy) with a Chamonix unlimited pass!
If you want to learn more about Chamonix don’t forget to ask your instructor for tips, he is a local!

Brévent-Flégère Ski area

“A south-facing ski area for skiers of every level, with superb gullies, on the edge of a nature reserve.

An unrivalled panorama of the ‘roof’ of Europe and its surrounding summits. Access Brévent from the center of Chamonix or Flégère from Chamonix Les Praz (3km from Chamonix). At the bottom of the ski area there is a beginners area: the Savoy which can be accessed on foot from the resort center.” Read more on chamonix.com

Grands Montets ski area

“Situated between the altitudes of 1235 m. and 3300 m., the Grands Montets area enables you to ski the greatest height losses in the world in the heart of the mountains, close to a glacier.

The pistes are spread over three slopes – the Argentière glacier, Lognan and the Pendant which also offer magnificent off-piste, known throughout the world and essential for freeriders. The quality of the snow coverage is remarkable up until May.” Read more on chamonix.com
