4 years old for skiing and 7 years old for snowboarding.
1)You can buy The Chamonix Pass if you are skiing in Chamonix (Brevent, Flegere, Le Tour and Les Grands Montets). It covers all those resorts.
2)If you plan to ski in Chamonix and Les Houches during your stay, you will need The Chamonix Unlimited Pass.
3) A beginner pass will do the trick if it is your first time skiing. It is unavailable online but can be purchased directly at the lifts. (Savoy, Flégere, Les Planards, Megeve).
4) For Megeve, the Evasion Pass covers the entire resort; you will need an unlimited pass if you plan to ski in Chamonix during your week.
We can pick up groups of up to 6 people for lessons starting at 9 am. If your lesson finishes at 4 pm, we can drop you off at your hotel or chalet at the end of the day.
For your convenience, we recommend that you wear your ski boots when we pick you up. Putting on your ski boots in the comfort of your accommodation is easier than trying to do so in the car park, where it can be tricky. Additionally, it’s important to note that once your lesson is finished, the instructor may need to teach another group, and as a result, regular boots cannot be stored in the instructor’s car.
While Chamonix’s public transportation system is incredibly convenient for travelling throughout the valley, it’s important to note that newcomers might initially find it a bit perplexing when determining which bus to board.
To make it simple, here’s a breakdown of the key bus lines:
- Bus Line 1: Travels from Les Houches to Chamonix and continues to La Flégère.
- Bus Line 2: Operates from Les Bossons, situated between Les Houches and Chamonix, to Chamonix and to Le Tour.
- Bus Line 14: Connects Le Brévent and Les Planards, with stops at Chamonix Sud and Chamonix Centre.
- Bus Line 17: Takes you from Le Brévent to Le Grépon.
Both Lines 14 and 17 offer frequent bus service to Le Brévent and Chamonix, with buses departing for Brévent or Chamonix every 10 minutes during peak hours.
- Bus Line 19: Relies Le Brévent to La Flégère.
Each bus is clearly marked with its line number and its destination. Importantly, each line shuttles passengers between points A and B, as well as B to A. Be vigilant to ensure you don’t accidentally board a bus heading in the opposite direction!
