In Collaboration: Girl Powder Retreats
Each winter, Girl Powder Retreats brings together a small group of women in Chamonix for a few days between snow, yoga, and calm. The retreat takes place at Chalet Mélèzes, a quiet wooden house surrounded by mountains, where mornings are for skiing and afternoons slow down between the spa, the fire, and shared meals.
Time and Space in the Mountains
The idea is simple: to offer women time and space to reconnect, to learn, and to share the rhythm of the mountains together. It is not a performance camp but a few days to progress at one's own pace, to meet others, and to feel at home in the Alps.
Supporting Snow Camp
Girl Powder also supports Snow Camp, a UK charity that helps disadvantaged youth access the mountains and develop life skills through snow sports. Every season, part of the retreat's proceeds go to this cause, linking the experience on snow to something larger beyond the valley.
A Natural Collaboration
For the past two winters, Skibex instructors have joined the retreat to guide lessons, from complete beginners discovering their first turns to more confident skiers exploring off-piste terrain when conditions allow. It is a collaboration rooted in trust and shared values: learning with patience, moving with confidence, and finding joy in the mountain together.
Next winter will mark our third season collaborating with Girl Powder, a partnership that has grown naturally over time through shared mountain values and a common way of teaching.
