Road & rail
Driving
A40 to the Sallanches/Megève exit, then the D1212 climbs to the village. From Chamonix, count 35 minutes over the Col via Saint-Gervais: our instructors do it daily in ski safari season. Winter tyres are compulsory (Loi Montagne II, 1 Nov to 31 Mar).
By train
TGV and regional trains reach Sallanches-Combloux-Megève, 12 km below the village. The Y85 bus (a few euros) or a taxi (~€35) finishes the climb. From Paris, count about 5 hours door to door.
Megève + Chamonix in one trip?
Base yourself by what you ski most. The two are 35 minutes apart by car but there is no practical public-transport link in winter evenings; mixing both works best with a car or with our ski safari days.Around the village
Free Meg-Bus shuttles
Free village shuttles loop between the centre, Mont d'Arbois, Rochebrune and the Jaillet roughly every 15–20 minutes in winter.
Train to Sallanches
Nearest station is Sallanches-Combloux-Megève (12 km); Y85 bus or taxi completes the trip up.
Parking in the village
Underground parks at the Casino, Mont d'Arbois and Rochebrune (paid); free P+R at the Palais des Sports with shuttle.
