All Chamonix buses are completely free when you show a valid ski pass. This includes travel between all ski areas, the town center, and valley villages. Simply show your pass to the driver when boarding.

Peak Times Busy
8-9am and 4-5pm are busiest. Buses fill up - consider earlier/later times.
Ski Equipment Allowed
Buses have ski racks. Load your own equipment and secure properly.
Stop Buttons
Press the red button before your stop. Some stops are on-request only.
Weather Delays
Heavy snow can delay buses. Allow extra time on storm days.

Chamonix Train
Historic mountain train connects valley villages. Scenic but slower than bus.
Taxi / Uber
Available but expensive. €30-50 between ski areas.
Private Transfer
Pre-book for airport/station pickup or lesson transport.
Bike / E-Bike
Summer option only. Bike path connects valley (not winter cleared).
Important Information
- • Bus schedules reduced on Sundays and public holidays - plan ahead.
- • No buses on Christmas Day and New Year's Day - book taxis in advance.
- • Buses stop running earlier in summer (May-Nov) - check seasonal schedules.
