The honest version: parking is the least alpine part of your day. Two areas still have big free lots, town parks cost about €22 for 24 hours, and the free skibus beats circling for a space every single time.

Four rules from people who park here daily

Arrive before 9:00

Free lots at Flégère and Grands Montets fill first, especially weekends, holidays and the morning after a snowfall.

Park once, ride free

With a lift pass or guest card the whole bus network is free. Leave the car at your accommodation and forget it.

Mind the height bars

Underground parks cap at 1.90 m: roof boxes will not fit. Use Grépon open-air instead.

Electric vehicles

Charging points at Mont-Blanc and Saint-Michel underground parks and at the Grépon; plan a top-up, mountain cold eats range.
